Hyacinth BioEnergy Ltd. is a clean energy startup that converts invasive water hyacinth from Lake Victoria into renewable biogas and organic fertilizer using a 300m³ anaerobic digester. Our solution tackles two major challenges in East Africa: energy poverty and aquatic weed infestation. By harnessing this free biomass, we produce affordable, methane-rich biogas for households, institutions, and mini-grids, while also creating high-quality organic fertilizer for local farmers. With strong market demand and government support for green energy, our scalable model is both environmentally and economically sustainable. Our operations will remove over 3,600 tons of invasive plants annually, supply energy to 300+ users, and cut greenhouse gas emissions. We’re seeking $265,300 in funding to cover capital and initial operating costs. Join us in transforming waste into wealth while restoring vital ecosystems and empowering communities across Africa. I offers you 40% Equity reach out now.
