hiveonline is an inclusive digital financial platform empowering informal communities across sub-Saharan Africa. Our innovate solution enables market systems development and financial inclusion by taking an ecosystem approach, bringing the wider economy closer to smallholder farmers.

To date we have enabled over 60,000 smallholder farmers in Kenya, Mozambique and Ghana, to digitise their farming community or savings group and access wider markets, better loans and higher quality inputs to improve their businesses and livelihoods.

We use contextual technology with rural populations, using a community facilitation model and resilient web technologies to reach users with limited infrastructure, while leveraging leading edge technology like blockchain to provide trustworthy interactions and frictionless interactions.
