My name is Hendricks Chioma Chime, I am the CEO of Hendrickson Agro Resources located in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria.
We are into fish farming and processing for commercial purposes.
Nigerian as a country is recently facing about 2.5 million metric tons deficit of fish demand. A country with a population of over 200 million people consume about 3.6million metric tons of fish annually and can only produced locally about 1.123million metric tons necessitating the importation of about 2.5million metric tons of fish worth about $1600million, this is a huge capital flight. Hendrickson Agro Resources will reduce this dependence on importation, the resultant effect we saw during the Covid-19 lockdown. Also, our product Catfish is consumed by all ages due to it’s nutritional value, cheaper in price and also will be an alternative to beef which is costly now due to herdsmen myriads in the Southern and Western part of Nigeria. If supported financially, we will produce 10,000 fishes quarterly
