70% of Uganda’s population relies on agriculture for livelihood, most being smallholder farmers, 95% of them use hand hoes to cultivate and can only cultivate 10% of their land in time for the short unpredictable rainy season. These farmer don’t use tractor either because they can’t afford to buy them or their land is so small that acquiring a tractor for it is not cost effective, so we are pioneering an “Uber for Tractors” app and platform to help farmers access tractors hire services at an affordable cost and tractor owners to manage their tractors and to easily tap into the vast farmer market
