GREEN YARDS PTY LTD is a registered agribusiness in Lesotho that assembles, constructs greenhouses with irrigation instalment and agriculture advisory. We have 3 years of experience in the industry and worked with an NGO (rise international), Lesotho Mounted Police Training College (PTC), Thetsane High School, St Patrick’s Primary School. We are working with rise international on a 5hub Schools project tender.
Mission and Vision:
Reducing disparities through use of sustainable agriculture and infrastructure.
The founder grew up on a farm and has experienced firsthand the challenges of reduced yield due to climatic changes and high water consumption during irrigation. We have the potential to meet our mission as we want to own solar-powered hydroponics farms on our 10 hectares piece of land.The farms will produce 3 times more yield than traditional farming, save 98% of water and run at close to zero electrical cost. Thus improving food security and consistency to meet demand.
