Green Scene Energy PLC is a private limited company that provides affordable, high quality solar energy products and services to the off-grid rural areas of Ethiopia. The company sells stand alone solar energy technologies for households, productive business and community centers. The company also provides Mini Grid installations services to government and Development partners.
To reach its customers Green Scene Energy partners with retailers, micro finance institutions and telecom operators to distribute the products using pay-as-you-go (PAYGO) financing mechanism.
Starting operations in 2016, Green Scene has sold over 9,000 solar energy products in SNNPR, Amhara and Oromia regions off-grid areas of the Ethiopia. The target markets in the next five years is reaching 600,000 Households across all regions. Our exceptional expertise, extensive partner network, and local presence ensure that our fully integrated process sustainably meets our clients’ energy needs.
