GIT will make money through the following revenue streams at the
eHub a one stop shop for innovations that uses the market
systems approach in its operation: (a) Organic fertilizer: The
company turns market wastes to manure which will be sold to
smallholder farmers to be used for growing high value horticultural
products. (b) Distribution of Pay as you go solar water pumps for
irrigation purposes in growing high value horticultural products by
smallholder farmers, (c) Distribution of pay as you go solar home
systems both entry level and middle level solar products targeting
low income households, The smallholder farmers use the solar home
systems for lighting during marketing, grading and packaging their
produce after dark. (d). Supply of vegetables to super markets, fast
food businesses and institutions. GIT also works with major off takers for
horticultural products for smallholder farmers.
