Our model was inspired by the current challenges facing vehicle owners in Ghana, and across many African markets with maintenance and other vehicle-related service options. OEMs tend to be few and expensive, semi-organized mechanic shops are considered overly priced with limited reach, and roadside services are reluctantly patronised but deliver the lowest quality work.
Beyond this, there are several gaps in the quality of service, reliability of parts, availability of roadside assistance, countrywide support, financing options and most importantly, efforts into greener forms of mobility.
This led to the formation of Green Hopper Ltd. Our focus is to connect the future of auto tech services to automobile experiences in Africa through a continentwide automotive ecosystem. Our flagship product, the FITA app, uses mobile technology paired with subscription models to provide a seamless and vetted ecosystem of auto-related services; while introducing greener forms of mobility.
