Green Gap Enterprise is a diversified natural resources private company that manipulates different
natural resources to extract and process classic organic products in the fields of the agriculture sector, primarily the fisheries sector. After years of livestock losses from the recurring droughts led to the shortage of meat and dairy products, which in turn has created a high demand for fish, but fish consumption is still confined to the coastal areas due to several factors including poor fishing and storage practices, poor infrastructure, and the illegal fishing fleets indifferently wiping the fish from our waters. This had segregated a large number of the population from access to fish, especially those people living on the mainland. A group of Somali young graduates who studied fisheries established Green Gap Enterprise. We use proven scientific methods and technicities of fishing in terms of catching, feeding, handling, and packaging with international standards.
