GAS360 is an early-stage cleantech startup changing the way energy is distributed to households in Africa, beginning from Nigeria. GAS360 focuses on using digital technology, through smart meters that measure LPG consumption, to generate data on users consumption, thus using that data to direct LPG resources, resulting in a 30% more efficient LPG distribution value chain, and cheaper LPG for the end-users.
The goal of GAS360 is to digitize household retail across Africa, starting with LPG, thus making household retail a more efficient process. The stage of the value chain where we operate is the most challenging in the industry. This is because this stage of the value chain is the most fragmented with thousands of operators, about 4 million end-users, and unfortunately laced with the weakest regulatory effectiveness in the industry. Our solution will promote market integration and aggregation using data-driven solutions that help to identify and quantify the last-mile consumption.
