Fitness Junction (PTY) Ltd Where health meets Fitness

Fitness Junction is a Level 1 B-BBEE company (100% black and 77% woman owned). The company contributes towards the fight against sedentary lifestyles. Gym companies in South Africa still shy away from townships. Our aim is to enter every feasible township and rural town in South Africa through a network of head-office owned gyms and franchising. Our key focus areas are Township & Rural commercial gyms (Shopping centre-based gyms and House-based gyms: FitPozi); Corporate gyms and Outdoor gyms. Learnings from Covid have led us to design a new gym prototype (FitPozi). This entails converting a typical “main road” township house into a commercial gym hence eliminating the shopping centre rental costs and building a property portfolio. This model increases the scalability of the business to as many townships as possible. Each FitPozi will be able to create 5 permanent and 4 commission-based jobs. We are looking for R950,000 equity funding to establish a FitPozi in Daveyton Township.
