FIROX AGRI innovates by adding value to local cassava to create gluten-free products: cassava flour for bread-making, pasta and cassava couscous. These products are healthy, nutritious and affordable, suitable for people with gluten intolerance. Faced with soaring prices for imported wheat, we offer a local, sustainable and competitive alternative in the form of cassava flour. Our model reduces waste by recycling cassava residues, creates rural jobs, strengthens food sovereignty and eventually integrates renewable energies. Spearheaded by a young entrepreneur trained by the Tony Elumelu Foundation, FIROX AGRI aims for inclusive and sustainable industrialization of the cassava sector in Africa.
