It’s accessible through the internet and allows users to post free ads of their farm products and services. Users are also able to buy farm inputs from the platform at discounted prices. Some of the most persistent problems for smallholder farmers in Kenya include accessing affordable inputs, information and markets, these challenges hinder them from commercializing their farming activities. As (fmk.co.ke) we seeks to unlock the door to better markets, affordable inputs and information access for there smallholder farmers. By providing a digital market, farmers are able to trade directly with buyers thus bypassing middlemen and brokers who take advantage of their ignorance.
