Farmers Friend Agri Enterprise Pineapple Value Chain using out-growers model

FFAE will focus on the entire pineapple value chain from cultivation to processing and distribution. The enterprise will work closely with local farmers to improve their farming techniques, provide necessary inputs such as suckers, pesticides, fertilizers, Good Agronomic Practices training, and facilitate access to markets. FFAE shall use Out-growers model, the out-growers model involves a contractual agreement where smallholder farmers cultivate the pineapple on their own land but are supported by FFAE. This partnership allows farmers to benefit from technical assistance, access to inputs, and other inputs necessary for successful pineapple cultivation. The out-growers model will enhance the productivity and profitability of smallholder farmers while ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality pineapples for marketing and processing. This model shall integrate several key components that collectively contribute to its success.
