Nigeria has a fish problem. Demand is growing, imports are expensive, and domestic production has been falling for nearly a decade. I started Farm Like Laly because I believe that gap is an opportunity — and that the solution starts with serious, professionally run fish farms.

I’m ADOOBE, Kakuubari Believe, Founder and CEO of Farm Like Laly, focused on the commercial production of catfish (Clarias gariepinus) and tilapia. I built this business from the ground up, developing a comprehensive business plan with three-year financial projections, and establishing Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistent, scalable production.

My approach to aquaculture is disciplined and data-driven. I understand that feed costs drive profitability, that fingerling quality determines yield, and that building institutional buyers is what separates a hobby farm from a real business. Farm Like Laly is built with all of that in mind.
