According to the Food and Agriculture Organization in the African Agribusiness Leadership Dialogue 2020, recent trends in Africa provide led growth that can stimulate investments significant opportunities for private sector and drive rural and agricultural transformation in African economies. In 2050, the world will have to produce 70% more food to feed 2.3 billion people while at the same time combating hunger and poverty using the scarce resources. There are huge local and international market demands for crops and agricultural commodities. About 60% of the day-to-day workers consider farming as an alternative source of income. Farming on its own is a 24/7 commitment.
