The roots of Equator Commercial Farming and Processing (U) Ltd date back to 2012, when it was co founded by three Ugandan Directors who began as rural farmers in Gomba District and later embarked on processing as a way to value addition.
The Vision is to be the leading reliable provider of safe sustainable food with stable value chain linkage while making a positive difference in lives of people and their households.
Florence Kakande – CEO – managing the company with over 18 years’ work experience in finance and Administration. She holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce majoring in Accounting. and she is trained by UNBS as a standard facilitator.
Bazirio Twikirize – Director in charge of production with over 20 years of experience in mobilizing and training farmer groups. He is a passionate farmer, trained teacher and holds a masters degree in Human Resource management.
Martin Kakande – Director in charge of marketing with over 20 years experience in sales and marketing.
