We work with smallholder farmers (women and youths) from rural areas. Our interests are in agribusiness, apiculture and value addition. We train the farmers on modern organic farming practices and apiculture before contracting them as outgrowing farmers and bee keepers. We buy the fresh produce from them at the market price and sell them on our online farmer’s market. We are also integrating value addition process into our value chain to help reduce post harvesting losses and increase its value.
Our online farmer’s market links farmers to homes and businesses by offering home and office delivery services. Our concept of an online farmer’s market began with a vision to find an efficient way to bring super fresh, natural food from farms in our own area to busy people who work all week and don’t have time to get to their farmer’s market at the same time empowering smallholder farmers in rural areas.
