Team EYE Liberia is led by a diverse and mission-driven team of young Liberians with strong community ties and firsthand understanding of vision loss. The organization is founded and led by Benjamin Varney Jr., a data analyst and project officer with over seven years of experience across financial institutions, corporate organizations, and social impact initiatives. He provides strategic leadership, data-driven decision-making, and impact measurement. The core team includes trained community vision agents responsible for screenings and last-mile delivery, operations staff coordinating partnerships with local pharmacies, clinics, churches, and schools, and volunteers supporting outreach and awareness. Our team is community-rooted, adaptable, and impact-focused, enabling efficient delivery, trust-building, and scalable implementation in underserved settings.
