EcoPack Green Ltd. is an innovative startup based in Nairobi, Kenya, focused on producing affordable, biodegradable packaging using locally available agricultural waste such as banana peels, water hyacinth, and papyrus reeds. With increasing plastic bans and growing demand for sustainable alternatives, our business provides an eco-friendly solution that also supports waste management and rural livelihoods. We are setting up a new, fully equipped production facility to manufacture compostable food containers, grocery bags, trays, and films for restaurants, retailers, and eco-conscious brands. By using free or low-cost raw materials, we keep production costs low, offering competitive pricing against imported products. Our model supports Kenya’s environmental goals and creates green jobs in sourcing, production, and logistics.
