The rampant deforestation has led to unsteady weather patterns , prolonged droughts and low food production which has led to increased poverty levels ,inflation among others.However alternative fuel alternative sources such as briquettes are recommended by the government and non-governmental organisations .
The charcoal briquette alternative initiatives are great but the problems is the machinery .Imported briquette machines costs from 5000$ up to Kenya and have have high maintenance costs. That’s where we got inspiration and we decided to design the smallest , high capacity ,cost effective briquette making machine which would be efficient for the African market.
