Ltd is innovative because it transforms kitchen and food waste into Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae, an affordable, eco-friendly alternative to traditional animal feeds like soybean which are not only expensive but also linked to environmental degradation. Rather than merely offering them cheap feed, we train women farmers in practical skills of waste collection and sorting. We then purchase this sorted waste from them, turning it into a valuable economic resource.This approach not only creates income for women but also reduces greenhouse gas emissions and feed costs by up to 50% for farmers. Unlike conventional feed suppliers, we decentralize waste sourcing, making women key players in the value chain. By combining waste management, climate action, and economic empowerment, Eco Hope offers a sustainable, community-driven solution to food insecurity.
