Our team at DST is led by Chisomo Daka (Founder, CEO & CTO) a physicist and deep-tech entrepreneur with 9+ years as a Physics Lecturer at MUST and a PhD candidate at Wits University, where he has submitted his thesis in Quantum Machine Learning. He holds an MSc in Physics (nanomaterials and nanocomposites), a BEdSc in Physics and Mathematics specializing in antennas and electromagnetics, certifications in space mission design and satellite communications and radio regulations. He also holds an EMBA which bridges advanced research, systems engineering, and strategic execution. The core technical team is drawn from graduates of the African Drone & Data Academy, bringing hands-on UAV, data, and field-operations expertise. DST’s strength lies in combining academic rigor, AI and aerospace engineering, and deep local operational insight. The team at DST is mission-driven and execution-focused, uniquely positioned to design, build, and deploy sovereign ISR technologies in Africa, for Africa.
