Crown Foods is a women-owned and managed premier food innovation enterprise focusing on post harvest loss prevention, food security and nutrition. We source our raw food mainly horticulture and cereals from local smallholder farmers add value and find market in both local and global food supply chain. We sell instant meals, powdered, frozen horticultural produce and nutritional processed cereals.
Our establishment came into existence as a response to COVID-19 to keep the food supply system up and running and become part of the solution for these unprecedented times where food supply system seems to be on hold and social-distance become a new norm. Crown Food Tanzania add food’s shelf life while maintaining its nutritional content. The idea is to ensure availability, help families stock food without fearing loosing its nutritional value. At the same time we continue to provide sustainable market to rural farmers who are affected with the pandemic and worry about their future economy.
