Craft-It by Divine is a woodcraft startup in Kericho, Kenya, bringing CNC technology to underserved regions. We design and produce custom décor, signage, and furniture accents using locally sourced wood. While CNC tech exists in Kenya, it’s mostly in cities like Nairobi and Mombasa. We aim to make it accessible in Kericho, meeting growing demand for precision and personalization. We’re seeking KSh 2M to acquire a 4×8 ft CNC router, train local operators, and launch production. This will establish Kericho’s first CNC craft shop, cutting production time and boosting product quality. Our model combines modern tech with local craftsmanship, offering scalable, high-quality woodwork for individuals, SMEs, and events. With a rising national trend in custom design and limited local options, Craft-It by Divine will fill a key gap in the Rift Valley. We’re carving out opportunity, upskilling youth, and transforming tradition with technology—one crafted piece at a time.
