Cinemagic Scoring (Pty) Ltd is a locally based business started in 2017 by John Walton and Gavin Potter
primarily targeting international clients wishing to have music recorded by a full symphony orchestra
whilst providing ongoing revenue for the Cape Town and KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestras.
It is our intention to attract business away from our global competitors by offering an equivalent
product at a better rate.
It is our dream to build the business to the extent that we will be recording scores for block-buster films,
major video game titles, having our own soundstage/studio facilities and ultimately our own dedicated
recording orchestra, whilst still providing work for the existing orchestras.
