Chitosan Egypt has an important social impact by firstly take those more than 500 tons of shrimp waste and get the value from it, secondly by providing a stable work and income for a whole village in (Fayoum/Egypt) called (Shakshouk) by peeling shrimp and buy the waste from them.
Chitosan has several applications in more than 240 applications through several industries such as medical, pharmaceutical, water treatment, etc. we started the our first market as the agri. market, ended 2018 with 3500 $ as a revenue and in 2019 till june we have made 20000$, so that proves the potential of the business.
