Our innovation addresses the energy poverty and circularity gap in remote farming communities of developing countries. Our solution to closing the loop is to bring Solar energy in a holistic approach of regenerative agroforestry contract farming. In particular, we offer modular Concentrated Solar Thermal Processors (CSTP) for crops and residues. This technology will concentrate solar energy up to 3 times the available solar irradiance, producing 300 C heat (3.5 kW), w/c is enough for a wide range of agri processing, from making biochar to the drying of crops. Each CSTP unit prevents 5-15 tons of CO2 emissions per year depending on the fuel being substituted. The carbon footprint for the fabrication of one CSTP machine is a one-time emission of 2 tons of CO² thus creating a carbon-negative agro-food system while preventing deforestation & food waste. Biochar soil amendments will be applied to the farms to enrich the soil while sequestering carbon and producing credits.
