The main problem we are solving is the lack of equipment for visual health specialists (due to the cost of the instruments), as well as the difficulty of moving the equipment outside of the office.
Current commercial instruments are acquired by large hospitals or specialized clinics with sufficient resources.
Independent optometrists often cannot afford a commercial device, currently they have to refer their patients, thus leading to a leakage of potential clients and lost profits.
TOCO is a precision, portable and affordable corneal topographer. It is 90% smaller and 50% cheaper then comercial instruments. TOCO is our first developed project, however, we have other ideas that we want materialize under the same premise:*Increase access to Visual Health care by creating detection and diagnostic devices portable and affordable.*
Launching TOCO on the market will allow us to consolidate the company and develope more solutions for the visual health specialists.
