WeMUNIZE is an automated scheduling, GPS-enabled PaaS software which enrolls children under 1 year of age, schedules their routine immunization (RI) appointments; then uses robocalls in local languages voiced by influential community personalities, as well as text messages to remind and persuade primary care givers and relatives that the infants be taken for their immunization appointments. At the facility, as part of the process of verifying and incentivizing attendance, the photograph of the child is taken, printed and given to the caregiver. This not only serves as a part of the immunization home-based record keeping tool, it also pleases the caregivers to have such a keepsake from a health facility.
