Big Mama Africa Biz Concept is a business that operates in the agric sector. It intends to combine crop cultivation, animal husbandry and fishery. It will also handle processing of some of its products to the final consumer stage. For eg, cassava will be processed into ‘garri’, tapioca and cassava flour.
Currently, the buiness has kick-started with crop cultivation with cassava, corn and plantain as pilot crops. It practices organic farming to further protect and conserve the soil.
The vision is become food-house for Enugu, South East Nigeria.
The founder, Ukamaka Okolo is a dedicated, passionate entrepreneur with 8years experience as a banker where she bagged the award as best Supervisor South East. She pivoted to agriculture as she was bothered with the dependence of South East on food from the North. She intends to impact the agric world with her dynamism.
