Bidec Group Ltd Making Organic fertilizers

B.I.D.E.C Group Ltd has established in 2018 as a leader in sustainable waste management and organic fertilizer production in Rwanda. With over six years of experience, BIDEC has been at the forefront of transforming organic waste into high-quality compost, offering environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternatives to chemical fertilizers. The organization has made a significant impact, particularly in improving soil health, enhancing agricultural productivity, and promoting climate resilience throughout the country. This business is currently being implemented in three districts: Rubavu, Musanze, and Huye. The company has plans to expand its operations to additional districts of Gasabo and Rusizi.
A key aspect of BIDEC’s impact has been its ability to mobilize and empower communities, particularly women and youth, by involving them in compost production. This initiative has created employment opportunities and built local capacity in sustainable agricultural practices.
