The Problem: 2 billion people globally work in the informal sector in low paid, insecure employment. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have the potential to grow and become the engine of decent work, but they are stuck, excluded by current funders.

Our Solution: We are building the world’s first financial institution dedicated to creating Good Jobs. We combine investment of $10k-$100k with efficient tech-enabled business support to unlock the potential of locally owned SMEs businesses. We are building a new asset class of meso-finance which can we scaled across every emerging market.

Why we’re different: By combining investment with tech enabled business support, we reduce the risk and increase the return of each business. This approach makes a currently unviable segment, viable. Standardisation and technology means we can deliver this at huge scale. In Uganda alone, there is potential to create 5.2m good jobs and unlock a $7bn market.
