BakkieHi is a mobile and web based-app which connects users seeking transportation for cargo (such as building materials, rubble, furniture, appliances, bulky shopping) with vetted drivers of carrier vehicles in real-time. The application allows light delivery vehicle (LDV) owners to manage and build their own enterprises, control their time and track their income and history. In 2020, there were 2.6 million of LDVs registered in South Africa, constituting about 33% of registered vehicle population in the country. Our initial income is generated from a 15% administration fee on the total customer amount.
