Hermandad de Honduras has searched for alternative energy systems at home, this is the most useful option for each of the homes that allows supplying 60% of the needs of each house, reducing CO2 emissions from the home by 403 kg each year.
We have carried out installations of photovoltaic solar panels to obtain electricity and reduce the carbon footprint by applying financing models (they are economically amortized over a period of 10 – 15 years)
During this year, we have ventured into the installation of 5,000 wood-saving stoves, which within a year will stop emitting between 1.5 tons of CO2 per year per kitchen, we also managed to benefit the most vulnerable families of Honduras, considerably improving the quality of the air in each of the homes
