In Nigeria, there is a high rate of death from non-communicable diseases that could have otherwise been prevented by a better diet. This is also one of the main reasons why the average Nigerian life expectancy at birth is 55 years, the third lowest among over 170 countries where such data is monitored.
By focusing on convenience, mobility, health, taste, and quality; we aspire to make it easy for Africans of any social class to have regular access to the nutrients necessary to minimize the risk of premature death from non-communicable diseases.
After working with a community of consumers to develop new products, A&S Foods will train and source it’s milk and raw materials from local farmers to produce value-added products such as kefir and yoghurt-based snacks to be sold to the final consumer via multiple channels including supermarkets, doorstep delivery, street vendors, and restaurants, among others.
