Team ApertaCura is led by Irene Baru (CEO), a lawyer and entrepreneur with 7+ years in law, compliance, and strategic growth; Aaron Ray (COO), a software engineer with 4 years in product innovation and operations; and Everlynn Muthoni (CTO), a data scientist with 5+ years in analytics and product leadership. Supported by two full-stack developers, we bring not only the professional skills and entrepreneurial drive to scale ApertaCura, but also deep insight into the challenges we’re solving. Having worked in high-pressure corporate environments, we’ve experienced firsthand how long hours of sitting, high stress, and constant pressure contribute to both mental health struggles and the rise of lifestyle-related diseases. We’ve also seen how existing wellness programs—often generic, event-based, and unengaging—fail to make a real impact.
