Alliance Vineyards Limited (AVL) is transforming Tanzania’s grape sector by developing the country’s first fully integrated vineyard-to-winery enterprise in Dodoma. Home to 70% of Tanzania’s grapes, Dodoma offers an ideal environment for scalable growth. AVL partners with 130+ smallholder farmers, 70% of whom are women-led, offering market access, training, and guaranteed offtake. Our phased approach establishes a 25-acre vineyard, juice processing plant, and winery, creating 19 full-time jobs and generating 25–30% ROI. AVL integrates climate-smart practices such as drip irrigation and organic inputs, promoting sustainability and resilience. By tapping into the growing regional demand for quality wine, AVL aims to scale exports and strengthen local food systems, offering investors a high-impact, high-return opportunity in East Africa.
