About the university

The Santa Cruz Private University Foundation of the Sierra-UPSA, created in 1984 by the Chamber of Industry, Commerce, Services and Tourism of Santa Cruz (CAINCO), is a civil institution of private non-profit dedicated to higher education, which cultivates the freedom of thought, opinion and expression within the highest standards of overcoming and seeking excellence. Its fundamental purpose is to develop training, research and extension programs based on the truth, good and integrity of man, society and nature as a whole.

We are a University dedicated to the formation of competitive human talent, with global vision, entrepreneurial spirit and ethical sense. We prepare our students for the creation, management and leadership in productive and innovative activities that promote the positive transformation of the community.
