Total Ventures is the Corporate Venture arm of Total. It invests in innovative startups that can help build new business in a low-carbon world. We have invested more than $200M in 30 investments directly and via VC funds.
We invest mainly in:
- Renewable energy, energy storage, distributed energy resource optimization and management, and smart grids
- Mobility and transportation
- Digital factory, industrial IoT, and smart manufacturing
The investments primarily consist of acquiring minority interests in selected companies during capital increases to help finance their development.
