Awards Ceremony Africa Startups Challenge

Recognizing Africa's top innovators

Thomson Reuters, in partnership with Venture Capital For Africa (VC4A), initiated The Africa Startups Challenge in the quest to find the best new companies coming out of Africa. At this awards ceremony, the top startup will be selected from over 500 startups screened by this competition. The winning team will receive a $10,000 cash prize and help launch the new Thomson Reuters first Africa based innovation lab.

This Challenge seeks the most promising startups in Africa. Key areas of focus are the following 10 categories:
