About The Baobab Network
The Baobab Network is a tech accelerator focused on early stage start-ups in Sub Saharan Africa. We invest $25k into 20 start-ups every year, focusing on healthcare, fintech, energy, food, e-commerce and education. Since we launched in 2016, we’ve worked with start-ups from Kenya, Rwanda, Zambia, DRC, Ghana, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda. We also have a growing market insights business, selling subscriptions to corporates around the world that want to learn more about Africa’s tech ecosystem. Our clients include Accenture, L’Oréal, What If Innovation, Johnson & Johnson and Engie.
