TechCabal Live virtual event series

How increasing women participation can grow e-commerce in Africa?

About the webinar

African e-commerce is growing rapidly every year; the number of online shoppers has increased by 18% annually since 2014. If the industry continues to grow under the same conditions, the value of the African e-commerce market is expected to reach $84.5 billion by 2030.

However, if the current conditions were to change, for example, if women’s sales became equal to men’s by 2025, the industry’s value could increase by nearly an additional $15 billion by 2030!

So, how do stakeholders across the industry collaborate to bridge this gap? How can they provide more opportunities and resources to women entrepreneurs while helping them leverage existing ones?
