How Big Deals Get Done: Inside the MFS-Capricorn deal

Join us for a TC Live session with Dare Okoudjou, Founder & CEO of MFS Africa and Degbola Abudu, Founder & CEO of Capricorn Digital.

Earlier in October, MFS Africa acquired Capricorn Digital, the parent company of Baxi, a Nigerian SME-focused fintech. This acquisition is the company’s third in five years, and first in Nigeria. It’s also termed the second-largest fintech acquisition deal in Nigeria.

On this episode of TC Live, Tomiwa Aladekomo, CEO of Big Cabal Media will be speaking with Dare and Degbola about how the deal got done and the factors that contributed to its success. What were the challenges faced, and what were the lessons learned? Join us on December 3rd to find out.

If you’re an entrepreneur or an aspiring entrepreneur, this is an important opportunity to learn about how you should even think about the process, to begin with, all the changes that need to happen and what it takes to close big deals.

Attendees will also be able to ask Dare and Degbola burning questions in an interactive session. The event is open to experienced and aspiring entrepreneurs as well as everyone else who is playing in the African technology industry.

This interview is part of our TechCabal Live virtual event series which features experienced players in Africa’s tech ecosystem sharing insights and experiences about topical issues. It is part of our work to provide insight and thoughtful guidance to the industry.
