 Project Summary-Teach4Nigeria is a project of Self-help Agriculture and Education foundation an independent, not-for-profit organization with a mission to promote sustainable education that will end education inequity in Nigeria. Our Vision One day, every child of school age in Nigeria will have the opportunity to obtain excellent education without discrimination.Objectives·   To increase the educational achievement of students in local communities and reduce the performance gap between boys and girls   to  increase availability of high quality teachers in the neediest  school , To strengthen access by improving the quality of instructional materials available for effective lesson delivery in English-and mathematics .Improve teaching/learning  in schools so that students pass grade will improve from the current 30 % in English and 20 % in Mathematics to 60-80%. Our mission: Creating a movement for sustainable educational change .Goals. Increase the educational achievement of students in local communities and reduce the performance gap between rural and urban schools in addition to availability of high quality teachers in the neediest school districts. Our Model for Change- includes both immediate and long-term impact crucial to systemic change. Teach for Nigeria is working together with schools, rural communities and other stakeholders to give every child the opportunity for an excellent education. Approach- We run a collective initiative that unites corporations, government officials and non-profits around a common vision of educational reform for Nigeria.     The project train volunteer teachers on the use of ICT  to broaden learning by using digital mobile technology and educational softwares like CDS,  DVDS,   e-Journals  e-books  and other digital products which produces  a commensurate impact on learners. The project provides training and mentorship  to  children from poor and marginalized communities to access quality education through video conferencing and a web-based e-learning platform using   cell phones with newer IP-based alternatives like WhatsApp, Skype, Viber, Vimeo  among others  and  has a digital library that  provides e-journals, softwares and other educational resources to learners and  students .
