About the program

HyperScale is the global sustainability accelerator that will identify, invest, and nurture innovations that can create a major impact on the future of the waste sector.

Focusing on tackling one of humanity’s biggest challenges, HyperScale is dedicated to helping waste-tech startups build solutions that can address the growing waste problem in Asia. In partnership with Enterprise Singapore, HyperScale will help waste-tech ventures cross borders and scale their sustainable innovations globally.

Global annual waste generation is expected to grow by 1.5x to 3.4 billion tonnes by 2050, with Asia as the largest contributor. Our immediate focus is to tackle challenges arising from electronic and plastic waste. HyperScale will support and accelerate companies developing breakthrough solutions for the waste sector and the circular economy.

What to expect?

HyperScale will take place over the course of 12 weeks.

Pilots & Partnerships
Strategic partnerships are a must for any startup looking to scale quickly. HyperScale facilitates link-ups with corporate partners or organizations that can open doors of opportunity for startups to grow at an accelerated rate.

Workshops & Masterclasses
Building upon a specially designed waste-tech curriculum co-developed with The Incubation Network, startups will be equipped with key knowledge and capabilities to build scalable products and sustainable business models.

Mentor & Coaching Sessions
Our mentors and coaches bring with them decades of experience building ventures across industries, expertise in developing solutions for circularity, and skill sets and insights to support startups on their journey.

Market Access
HyperScale bridges the knowledge gap for global startups by connecting them to key stakeholders in respective markets who can help refine their product-market fit and scale across regions.

Investor Matching
We work with a wide network of venture capital firms, impact investment funds, sustainability and waste-tech focused investors looking to fund impactful innovations from our cohort of startups.

Demo Day
HyperScale’s mission is to create a platform for success. The program ends with Demo Day, helping startups pitch to global investors to raise growth capital to scale their impact in the long term.

Who we are Looking for?

Startups applying to the program should meet the following criteria:

Requirements:

• Post-seed to Series A startups.
• Have raised external funding and/or revenue-generating.
• Ready for market expansion.

Focus areas:

• Strong alignment to addressing challenges along electronic & plastic waste streams.
• Demonstrates clear impact on the end-users.
• Ability to scale and localize solutions across waste industries in Asia.
