INTERNATIONAL GATHERING OF STARTUPS IN MOROCCO TO EXPLORE INTERNATIONALIZATION & INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN AFRICA

STARTUP AFRICA SUMMIT is a disruptive event designed to bring together innovative startups, investors, industry experts and ecosystem leaders to discuss business and investment opportunities in Africa.

STARTUP AFRICA SUMMIT is 3-day events of an intensive learning experience and welcoming networking environment to enable startups from MENA and African Diaspora take the leap to the African Market, share experiences and foster cooperation and investment opportunities.

STARTUP AFRICA SUMMIT 2020 is a flagship event of the DIAFRIKINVEST and THE NEXT SOCIETY, organized by StartUp Maroc in partnership with ANIMA Investment Network and co-financed by the European Union.

Event Format and Content

From Thursday to Saturday, on the program we have workshops, B2B sessions with investors, buyers and potential partners, we have also panels and inspirational keynotes and roundtable talks led by experts in innovation and entrepreneurship from Africa and elsewhere.

WORKSHOPS (for Startups by invitation only) – Sales, Market And Investment
Several workshops designed around sales strategies and exploration of African markets, investment and fundraising preparations. The workshops will be led by the most well-known experts in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

MEETINGS B2B (for Startups by invitation only) – Startups with Buyer, Investors, Business Angels, Mentors & experts
Several B2B meetings for the startups’ founders with potential buyers (national and international), Business Angels and VCs from around the world as well as mentors and experienced entrepreneurs.

WORKSHOPS (for Business Angels by invitation only)
Workshops organized by MedAngels, the first network of Business Angels across all Mediterranean countries that aims to facilitate cross-border investment among the network members. These workshops are hosting Business Angels from Morocco and the Mediterranean region.

CONFERENCE DAY​ (open to the public)
Inspirational conferences and panels led by investors, national and international start-up ecosystem players who will debate investment and internationalization opportunities in Africa and Morocco as a bridge to the international market as well as the African.
