Stanford Seed is looking for high-potential CEOs/founders based in Africa who are motivated for growth.

The Seed Transformation Program is an unconventional, online learning experience that goes beyond acquiring business skills. Stanford’s world-renowned faculty and dedicated team of experts work with leaders throughout their 12-month journey to growth.

Growth for you – transformation for your business.

The Seed Transformation Program is designed specifically for business owners and up to five members of their senior management team.

This online program is led by world-renowned Stanford GSB faculty and is supported by local experts and Stanford trained facilitators.


The Details

PROGRAM DATES: September 2021 – October 2022

APPLICATION DEADLINE: 15 April 2021

PROGRAM FEE: US $5,000* COVID Discount Price

OPEN TO: CEOs/founders of for-profit companies and for-profit social enterprises, and up to five senior managers.

REQUIREMENT: Companies based in Africa with annual revenue between US $300,000 and $15 million.

COMMITMENT: Approximately 5-8 hours per week for CEO/founder; 2-4 hours per week for managers.

LOCATION: Virtual, in-person elements may be added if the health and safety situation improves.

*The cost of the program has been significantly subsidized through philanthropic contributions. In Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa, the cost of the program has been further subsidized by the De Beers Group.
