SOSTA's vision is to be a leading workplace and skills training organisation.
Somaliland Skills Training Association (SOSTA) is a non-profit making organization, which was founded in 2005, for development of youth and vulnerable groups in the community like IDPs, women, children, disabled people, and minority. SOSTA has its headquarter in Borama Awdal region, Somaliland but mainly operates in all regions of Somaliland. SOSTA aims to stimulate the potential of the Somaliland people to change their own lives through a sustainable, integrated people centred development strategy. In this regard, SOSTA facilitates various viable development programs amongst the communities it serves as working with IDPs, Vulnerable people, for making them Advocacy, awareness raising to leave harmful traditional practices like, FGM/C, Early marriage, GBV and other Human rights/protection activities. Our mission is to help alleviate the sufferings of unemployed youth, women, children, IDPs by equipping them with the skills and expertise necessary to enter the job market and provide other services.
SOSTA envisions itself as a leading employment and skills training organization in Somaliland. We believe that though job creation, we can help transform the lives of youth and unemployed citizens.
