Raise For Impact

Investment readiness

Raise for Impact aims to help impact entrepreneurs be prepared to receive their first round of external funding to bring their social and environmental business to the next level. To achieve this goal, the program provides them with training, professional support and connections with first-level impact investors in Europe and Latin America, giving them the opportunity to present their project.

The program is structured in 5 modules:

  • Module 1:  Evaluate and improve your financial preparation.
  • Module 2:  Approaching and dealing with impact investing people.
  • Module 3:  Manage and monitor performance and relationship with investors after investment.
  • Module 4:  Leadership and mental wellness.
  • Module 5:  Networking and Demo Day.

of these modules involves four types of activities:

  • Training and Workshops.
  • Advice one to one.
  • Mentoring led by

Eligibility

The startups that are candidates to participate in Raise for Impact will go through a selection process in which the Social Nest Foundation team will take into account the following requirements and evaluation criteria:

We are looking for ten impact entrepreneurs in Latin America, Portugal and Spain that meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Having the company legally constituted.
  • That the company has a solid business model, with traction in the market.
  • With an innovative business model (product, service, organizational model) underway in Spain, Portugal or any Latin American country.
  • With growth plans at national and international level. If we want to make an impact, we must have the ambition to reach as many people and places as possible. Think about playing the stars and getting to the moon.
  • That startup operate in some (s) of the following areas of impact: climate change, protecting land and water, energy and infrastructure, regenerative agriculture, inclusive and sustainable tourism, Silver Economy, sustainable fishing, software as a service, renewable energy, reforestation, social inclusion, conservation of biodiversity, water, green mobility, circular economy, green buildings, sustainable fashion, sustainable construction, education and training for the work, or universal access to health and wellness.
